Create a site

As owner, open Sites and create a site. Give it a name, a stable key such as journal and the base URL of your public frontend. Set the site locale and SEO defaults. Use the site key in API requests. PUBLIC_URL is the separate address of the CMS itself.

Write and publish your first article

Open Articles and create an article for your site. Add a title and body. Set a slug you can use on the public site, add a cover image and credit an author if needed. Save the draft and review the SEO fields before publishing.

Publish the article, then use the public endpoint in the frontend guide to verify it is available. To take it offline, unpublish it in the editor. Refresh any caches in your frontend that store published content.

Fetch your published article

Use the media library and image variants

Upload images to Media, then select them from the editor or from a media field. Add useful alternative text when displaying an image. Use named image variants for recurring sizes such as cards and hero images. Create the preset in Image variants, then open Integration for its public URL and supported options. The first request generates the variant and later requests reuse it.

Model structured content

Create a custom content type for repeated structures such as a directory. Choose a stable key and define fields such as text, dates, media or relations. Create a sample entry and check the response in Integration before building your frontend. Treat field keys as part of the contract with your frontend.

Invite teammates and assign roles

Invite people from the user management area. Assign a role with the permissions they need and review which sites or content they can access. Author credits identify who wrote an article and are managed separately from login accounts.
