A small CMS, growing thoughtfully.Explore the beta (opens in a new tab)

From a spark of an idea
to something out there.

A considered workspace for the people who write, organize and publish. Enough structure to keep things clear. Enough freedom to make it your own.

Keep your mind
on the story.

A rich text article editor keeps the writing front and center. Credit your authors, choose a site, add a cover and move from draft to online when you are ready.

  • Search and social previews alongside your content
  • SEO suggestions that guide, without blocking publication
  • Separate site settings, author profiles and article credits

Whatever you make,
give it a home.

Define a type, arrange its fields and let RenewCMS build the form. Connect entries with relations. Review the impact of schema changes before applying them.

Text

Names, titles and short ideas.

Rich text

Longer content, in Markdown.

Number

Whole numbers or decimals.

Yes / no

A simple on or off.

Date

A day on the calendar.

Choice

Your own list of options.

Media

An image from your library.

Relation

A connection to other entries.

Custom types have 1–50 fields. Validation options depend on the field type. Relations support one-to-one, one-to-many and many-to-many connections.

One good image.
More ways to use it.

Define named variants for the sizes you need. RenewCMS generates them on demand and caches the result, while leaving your original untouched.

Find where images are used, merge duplicate uploads, and manage the variant cache from the workspace.

Illustrated mountain landscape shown in different crops

Crop illustration only. Real raster variants use your saved settings; SVGs are served unchanged.

Good teamwork.
Thoughtful permissions.

Give people their place.

Start with Owner, Admin and Writer roles, or build your own. Set content permissions per type, with None, Own or All scope. A contributor can write without permission to publish.

Follow the changes.

See content edits, media changes and access events in one activity trail. Filter by person, category or outcome, export CSV, and choose how long logs are retained.

A little more context.

Keep author profiles separate from login accounts. Manage several sites with their own base URLs, SEO defaults and sitemaps from the same instance.

Make room for
your next good idea.
