# RenewCMS

> RenewCMS is a self-hosted headless CMS: a Go REST API and an embedded Vue 3 workspace, with articles, structured content, images and team permissions. This is its public product website, available in English and French.

RenewCMS is beta software under active development. Run a binary or Docker image on your own infrastructure. Your public frontend is built and hosted separately. SQLite and local images are the defaults; PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB and S3-compatible storage are available.

This website serves product information, not a running CMS API or MCP service. A deployed CMS instance serves its own version-matched OpenAPI and LLM documentation. The optional MCP executable connects to that instance over HTTP using the permissions of its API key's creator. Prefer instance documentation for integration details; main-branch documentation may change.
