# Content editor, schemas & media | RenewCMS

Write articles in the rich-text editor, keep drafts, publish, assign author credits and manage article SEO and social sharing fields. Sites carry their own base URL, locale, SEO defaults and sitemap.

Create custom content types with text, rich text, number, boolean, date, select, media and relation fields. Schema changes are validated against existing entries.

Keep original images and request named image variants generated on demand and cached. SVGs and animated GIFs are served unchanged. Media usage and duplicate merging help maintain the library.

Team roles control None/Own/All access, per-type grants and a separate publishing permission. API keys use their creator’s current permissions.
